Ministry of Education and Sports embarks on the rollout of the TELA system throughout the country. Kagadi District Education Department has conducted training and distribution of Smartphones installed with the TELA application. Each government school both primary and secondary has received a gadget to be used in monitoring the teaching and learning process.
The distribution took place on 9th March 2023 at Kagadi Model Primary school. It brought together all headteachers from 146 government schools in Kagadi. The exercise was carried out by Planet Systems, a company contracted by Ministry of Education and Sports to implement the TELA project in schools.
